Where spiders crawl amongst the pumpkins;
In that creepy hallowed light;
Shadows cast against the moon
On are Hallowed evening-night.
A cackle heard from under a pointy hat
With green fingers grasping tight;
The wooden handle on her stick
Steering crazily in the eerie light.
Black teeth and even darker breath
Passing boils on her skin;
Her lips a lumpy red
With blackheads deep within.
Masquerading on All Saints Night
Creepy and mad or what;
The one thing that we can be forgiven for
Is being frightened of the green smut.

With a cackle and a hiss
The cauldron brew is strong;
It smells fearfully like
Something very wrong.
Cobwebs and spiders
Are they in this stew;
If so I'm not sure I'll eat it
What about you???
^^^^
The ghost and ghouls
Surround us now;
I don't know about this
I don't know how.
I want to go home
But can't think of the magic;
If the great toad eats me
That will be tragic!

Hissing sounds and cats around
All black and hiding in the dark;
We should have stayed around the streets
And not come in the park!

Tricks or treats it's up to you
I've got my list already;
I'm still shaking from that witch
I can't hold my hands steady.
Are you sure that was one dressed up
There will be some of them that are real;
My dad said so late last night
When he was eating his meal.
I haven't seen any men witches-have you?
They're all a bit like the munsters;
It's a good job we can stay in the shade
It'll give us a chance that'll do for starters!

For spooks and ghouls and ghosties too
I'll not have any sleep;
Dressed up in creepy clothes
It makes me want to weep.
^^^^
There's a goblin at my window
A monster at my door;
The pumpkin at my table
Keeps on smiling at me more and more.
There's a ghost who haunts my bedroom
A witch whose face is green;
They used to be my family
Till they dressed for halloween.

Dank and dark, cold and stark
Whispering trees, ghostly breeze;
Fluttering bats, green eyed cts
Secret rooms, haunted tombs;
Mossy stones, ancient bones,
Creaking floors, squeaking doors;
Dim candlelight, endless night
Comes the dawn, pale silvery morn.
Gone all fear and fright.
Until tonigh!!!

Darkness enfolds us
Street lights abound;
hiodden dark corners
We jump at any sound.
Ghosts and goblins
Spirits of the night
Come out for Halloween
To give us a fright.
Witches and warlocks
Cooking up spells
Spiders, frogs, toads and slime
Giving off an awful smell.
Their Halloween Party
Now on the boil
Guests are arriving
Starting to howl;
Lock up your children
Keep them out of sight
Hide them away from
Crteatures of the night.
Daybreak arrives
The night slips away
Halkloween gone
Back again next year.
